Arseniy Yatseniuk, Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, initiated foundation of the Expert Economic Council. The activity of the Council aims at elaboration of common effective mechanisms for overcoming world economic crisis and strengthening of national economy.
The Council will include representatives of the International Monetary Fund, the World Bank, stock market, leading economic experts of Ukraine.
The first sitting of the Expert Economic Council will be held on Tuesday, 14 October 2008. The resolutions adopted at the sitting will be included into the agenda of the meeting of the national Security and Defense Council of Ukraine on Friday, 17 October.
Sitting of the Expert Economic Council starts on 14 October 2008 at 2.30 p.m. at 5 Hrushevskoho Str. (Meeting Hall).
